BSG's worries that Magglio Ordonez stored his mojo in his jheri curl mullet were calmed yesterday as Mags got his 2,000th career hit in a win over the Twins. Those two seemed to have picked back up right where they left off last year in the AL Central, which should mean another fun battle for all of us. BSG likes the Detroit lineup, and, like the rest of the world, thinks the Damon addition will probably help. But he still misses that jheri curl. Enjoy!

Fun fact for the day: today in 1986 Roger Clemens struck out 20 Mariners. The M's are lookin better in 2010 though, and after a pre-season cover appearance on ESPN The Magazine, they're the trendy pick in the AL West. So we swear we recorded this before the Rays had the best record in baseball, but even if you don't believe us, they do, and we did, so lets get on it with it. BSG likes him some Rays. He likes that it would feel as natural to see Madden at a Coldplay concert as in the dugout at Tropicana. He likes that they've got a roster brimming with young talent.
