Best 3 New NL Batting Stances

Nothing makes me happier than seeing Anthony Rizzo, Andrew McCutchen and Colby Rasmus switch their batting stances to something more funky. 2010 Rookie Watch : Jonathan Lucroy

There might not be much else for the good people of Milwaukee to be excited about for their Brewers right now, but at least the future looks bright for rookie catcher Jonathan Lucroy.  There's also BSG's 2nd Brewers rookie to "The Wire" analogy in as many weeks.  Get pumped Milwaukee, it's Rookie Watch.

2010 Brewers Preview

Last year BSG got a chance to visit Miller Park, have a stance-off with Prince Fielder, and imitate the Brewers for the Brewers in their stretching circle.  So you'll excuse him if he has a special place in his heart for Milwaukee.  Not to mention, the sausage race may be the best thing going in between-inning entertainment in all of baseball.  For your weekend, here's the 2010 preview of the brew-crew.  Enjoy!

BSG vs. Prince Fielder

One is a National League All-Star and the reigning Homerun Derby champ, the other, a 36 yr old balding man with a wiffle ball bat.  It's a showdown for the ages as Batting Stance Guy goes head to head with the Milwaukee Brewer's Prince Fielder in the first ever "Swing-Off!"  And if you haven't seen Prince do his thing before, we gotta tell you, you're in for a treat.  The other guy, well.. you know.

Prince Fielder’s 2008 Walk-Off HR

In honor of BSG's trip to Milwaukee and his stance showdown with NL All-Star and homerun derby champ, Prince Fielder, we thought we'd take a look back at the slugger's monster walk-off HR against the Pittsburgh Pirates from late September of last year.  This at-bat by the man with the most jersey in baseball spurred the Brewers on to their first playoff appearance in 26 years,  and gave us all a glimpse of what a major league gut looks like.  yikes.  Enjoy!

The Brewers & BSG

Saturday, I get the word that I’m supposed to be at Miller Park that next morning at 10:30am. I arrive and the producer takes me to the field. We meet the on-air pregame show host. He is gracious and his wife laughs at me imitating BJ Surhoff’s facial expressions. We start the interview and he has me imitate players from the last 30 years.
