2010 Rookie Watch : Peter Bourjos

Today for Rookie Watch, BSG takes a look at Angels rookie, Torii Hunter's outfield replacement, Peter Bourjos.  With a well-timed squeeze bunt in Tuesday night's win against the Kansas City Royals, Bourjos has officially doubled his RBI production for the year and is ready to join the pre-game, model airplane high-jinks with teammates, Ervin Santana and Howie Kendrick.  Don't get the joke, well you'll just have to watch Rookie Watch!

BSG ALL-STAR GAME 2010 : Angels Trivia

BSG had quite the week at the All-Star Game thanks to the good folks at Lexus and Yardbarker.  We'd like to thank all the fans who played along at FanFest and to everyone who's followed the action here on bsg.com this week.  So as the 2nd half of the 2010 season gets underway, we bid adieu to Anaheim with a little game of Angels trivia with some Halos' faithful.  Who knows their team better?

2010 Angels Preview

Fresh off his career 1000th hit, BSG takes a look at Hideki Matsui and the rest of the 2010 Angels.  Just how does Mike Scioscia keep this club at the top of the AL West and competing in the playoffs year after year?  BSG isn't sure, but he loves the lineup and the fact that the All-Star game will be in Anaheim this year.  Enjoy your 2010 Angels!

BSG’s Who To Watch : AL West

Why the AL West now you may ask.  The Angels clinched days ago, Texas is done for the year, and all eyes are fixed firmly on the AL Central race.  Plus, didn't you guys already post the AL MVP Candidates?  The short answer here folks is that there's not really too much method to the madness.  But we also figured you might be looking for reasons to watch the last few games out west this season.  So catch these guys before the weekend's over.

Jim Edmonds – The Catch

So we're not gonna lie, with BSG being based outta LA, a Dodgers/Angles World Series has a nice ring to it.  So to help things along, this week we'll be taking a look at some classic moments in both teams' histories.  Today, we're leading off with the Jim Edmonds 1997 marvel known simply to Angels fans as, "The Catch."  Niners fans, take no offense, we still love Dwight Clark too.  Enjoy!

From the Archives… BSG on Angels Live
