Questions from BSG’s Daughters with Carlos Pena

After the Yanks defeat at the hands of the D-Backs last night, the Rays will look to reclaim a share of the best record in the league tonight as they take on the NL West leading San Diego Padres.  The Rays will have many questions to answer down the stretch about their ability to hang in the brutal AL East, but first Carlos Pena has to answer questions from BSG's daughters.

Tampa Bay Rays slugger, Carlos Pena, recently ended a 6 game HR streak, coming just 2 games shy of the MLB record held by Dale Long, Don Mattingly, and the recently retired, Ken Griffey Jr.  It was the 2nd biggest moment of his 2010 season, as just a few months earlier, to his great surprise, he got to play Who Knows You Better with the Batting Stance Guy.  It's been a big year for Carlos, its been a real big year.

2010 Rays Preview

So we swear we recorded this before the Rays had the best record in baseball, but even if you don't believe us, they do, and we did, so lets get on it with it.  BSG likes him some Rays.  He likes that it would feel as natural to see Madden at a Coldplay concert as in the dugout at Tropicana.  He likes that they've got a roster brimming with young talent.  He likes that, in the toughest division in baseball, they've come outta the gates red hot.  Does that have anything to do with the fact that they gave him his own jersey?  You decide.  The 2010 Rays.

2010 Blue Jays Preview

As the Blue Jays look to Twitter to solve their attendance problem at SkyDome, BSG looks to Toronto's past to help get their fans in the mood for the 2010 season.  The AL East is a tough place to live, so why mess with analyzing current rosters when we can hop in the Wayback Machine and visit the magical year of 1998, and a lineup too good to be true.  Enjoy!

BSG’s Who To Watch: AL East

The big bad AL East. This is where it all starts and ends folks. And while it may be all over but the crying for any non-Yankees to clinch a division title this year, we wanted you to know that BSG hasn't forgotten about these fellas.
