An ode to every MLB video I’ve ever watched.

BSG just had too many good ideas for Bud Selig to fit into one video. So it’s time for round 2 of his baseball innovations pitch to the fans at the All-Star FanFest. A “singing” penalty for relief pitchers, required tweets from scoring position, gifts from the crowd… at first base; these are just a few of the gems BSG tossed to the crowd. You decide what to get on the commissioner’s desk..

Coming off an evening that saw the National League win it’s first All-Star Game since 1996, New York Times national baseball reporter, Tyler Kepner might want to change his answer on “story of the year” in Major League Baseball, but we’ll cut him a break on that one. BSG is much less merciful with Tyler as he does his annual Mid-Season Report with a Reputable Reporter… for the first time. It’s more BSG from the 2010 All-Star game in Anaheim. Enjoy!

Book week was a huge success, and we extend many thank you’s to everyone who helped make the release of Batting Stance Guy : A Love Letter To Baseball such a fun experience. For all the folks who came out to the book signings over the weekend, all we can say is, wow, you guys rock! We plan to have lots more BSG for everyone this week, so check here and the Facebook book fanpage for all the times and details.

We know things have been a bit sparse round here as we wait for pitchers and catchers to report, so if you’re just hankering for a dose of BSG head on over to the Hall of Very Good to check out his latest interview with our good friend Shawn Anderson. Heck, just head on over there anyways, the guy is funny and he writes good stuff. Enjoy!

Just as no good U2 concert ends without a rendition of “With or Without You”, there have been few appearances in the last year for BSG that haven’t involved a Kevin Youkilis swing. Back in February BSG took a trip down to Florida to visit with the Red Sox at spring training and got some face time with the man with the best stance in baseball. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about the AL All-Star, from why he sweats in his own eyes to why he based his warm-up swing on Jeter’s (yikes) in this 5-part “interview” with BSG. Enjoy!

You know, it’s true what they say, everything does sound better with a Dominican accent. Or maybe it’s just that we’re suckers for praise from Manny Ramirez. Either way, if you’ve ever wondered what the Dodgers slugger’s laugh sounds like, we’ve got it in abundance. Enjoy!
