Tonight the Twins and Tigers kick-off a four game series in Detroit that will most likely decide the AL Central. With neither team in wild card contention, the stakes are high. The good people of motown gotta feel good about this one being a home series. Tomorrow night, they’ll feel even better if Justin Verlander has an outing like June 12th, 2007. BSG is here to help your remember it.

The winner of this week’s video poll, and the first of many FSN/BSG Classic Moments we’ll be sharing with you here on the site, is none other than the Kirk Gibson’s game winning HR off Dennis Eckersley in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. The first Michael Bay film of the year hitting theatres can only mean one thing… the summer movie season has officially begun. Not to be outdone, BSG decided to take a short break from the big leagues to tackle the best stances from the silver screen. A tip to all you production researchers out there, make sure to get a handle on Shoeless Joe Jackson’s left/right switch before putting Ray Liotta at the plate. Enjoy!
