The Twins are in this thing folks. Their race with Detroit looks to be the only divisional battle left to watch down the stretch. BSG was recently in the land of 1,000 lakes to entertain the Twins and enjoy the hospitality at the Minnesota State Fair. One is a National League All-Star and the reigning Homerun Derby champ, the other, a 36 yr old balding man with a wiffle ball bat. It’s a showdown for the ages as Batting Stance Guy goes head to head with the Milwaukee Brewer’s Prince Fielder in the first ever “Swing-Off!” And if you haven’t seen Prince do his thing before, we gotta tell you, you’re in for a treat. The other guy, well.. you know.

Just as no good U2 concert ends without a rendition of “With or Without You”, there have been few appearances in the last year for BSG that haven’t involved a Kevin Youkilis swing. Back in February BSG took a trip down to Florida to visit with the Red Sox at spring training and got some face time with the man with the best stance in baseball. There’s really no good reason Manny Ramirez should ever be chasing a wiffle ball bat for someone, we don’t know why he did it for us, but he did. Thanks Manny.
