Time to honor the final four teams eliminated. And while we’re at it, the two booted WildCards. Hats off to you White Sox, Rays, Halos and Dodgers. You came up a buck short. And to the Rangers and Braves it wasn’t meant to be. It’s the Week in Review! www.BattingstanceGuy.com Twitter: @BattingStanceG

Trading deadline is July 31st, yet somehow Dodgers just traded for Adrian Gonzalez & Carl Crawford. I need answers. Well, I need to discuss which guys have even moved. And what their stances look like….of course. www.BattingStanceGuy.com Twitter: @BattingStanceG

Hockey playoff OTs, MLB Team Seizures & Trailblazer 4th quarter comebacks, even He is Risen, He is Risen, Indeed won’t derail BSG’s Week in Review. A carnival of appropriately themed jerseys & shirts will help focus the conversation. It’s a beautiful day at the ballpark. Beautiful day for a Week in Review. Twitter: @BattingStanceG

Massive panic in Boston, Houston, and Minnesota. Here, we focus on the positive, i.e., what caught my eye this week. You’ll hear about the greatest reaction I’ve received to an imitation, yet. It’s the Week in Review! www.BattingStanceGuy.com Twitter: @BattingStanceG

There’s really no good reason Manny Ramirez should ever be chasing a wiffle ball bat for someone, we don’t know why he did it for us, but he did. Thanks Manny. The AP says what this is better than we could. “Gar Ryness is known as the ‘Batting Stance Guy’. He does impressions of major leaguers in their batting stances. Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez loved his mimickry.” “Loved” is a relative term. Enjoy.

The regular season has ended. Already?! One must focus on the last week in order to know what is next. – ancient Chinese sage once said. Well we do that here. Playoffs are set. Records were attained. Even The Hoff will be referenced. It’s the Week in Review!

The hits just keep on coming. Today BSG’s got your 2010 Dodgers. They’ve got it all, divorce scandals, celebrity fans, and of course, just to keep things sane, Manny. BSG’s putting this team on the fans shoulders though. He loves LA. Do you?

We’re gonna go out on a limb and say the Dodgers take the NL West. So to help get folks in a LA state of mind for the postseason, here’s a little gem from 2006. Back to Back to Back to Back, and then Nomar walked off. Sure, only Martin remains, but we think this bunch still has what it takes. Enjoy!

The winner of this week’s video poll, and the first of many FSN/BSG Classic Moments we’ll be sharing with you here on the site, is none other than the Kirk Gibson’s game winning HR off Dennis Eckersley in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. It’s all there folks, the Magnum PI staches, the fist pumps, Tommy Lasorda’s gut, it’s really just as good as it gets. To make things extra fun, we’ve included the original footage. See if you can tell em apart. Here’s a hint, in the real game they used a ball. Enjoy!

You know, it’s true what they say, everything does sound better with a Dominican accent. Or maybe it’s just that we’re suckers for praise from Manny Ramirez. Either way, if you’ve ever wondered what the Dodgers slugger’s laugh sounds like, we’ve got it in abundance. Enjoy!
